This is deja vue all over again. In July 2009 we spent the entire month doing deferred maintenance on our house in preparation for our out move to Spain. Now we spent the entire month of January, through February 4th in fact, packing, cleaning and moving furniture to storage.
Above is a photo of the Trillium flowers in our yard. It is prettier than any photos we might have taken of boxes and loaded trucks. It is a better memory than all that work!
We got as far as Portland on the night of February 4 and then continued south to spend a couple weeks with Rob’s mother, age 93, before heading for our new home in Central Asia.
