Thanksgiving 2013 may become the last of many family times with a member of the former generation. We enjoyed Mom and she enjoyed seeing all her five grandchildren, three spouses, one fiance and eight great-grandchildren. She suffered a mild heart attack on December 5th, the day after Beryl and I left to return to our overseas work. After a brief hospitalization and time in a rehab facility she moved to assisted living and as of this writing has not returned home.
