While we were gone our home was occupied by renters who did as much as we expected of them in the yard but, if you have seen it, our back yard is large and high maintenance. Lots of work was overdue so we have begun digging, cutting and hauling our overgrown bushes and tons of large maple leafs out of the grass and flower beds. We have a compost pile of heroic proportions now and as summer has come we are filling it even more
Our efforts have paid off. Our lawn that was consumed by moss has recovered from the moss killer, thatching and reseeding. The cold spring retarded the plant growth but ultimately the bushes came back to bloom. Come and visit us!
