Turn Over

In the Navy I learned that when a person completes an assignment it is vital to turn over responsibilities to a replacement.   We were fortunate that a couple who are workers in our town made it known that they would like to do our job.   This would work well for their family and would be good for the house too!   They are native speakers of Spanish and are residents of the town with plans to stay.   This will enable the house to have managers for more than a year at a time and insure that our local leaders would not have to break in new helpers so often.

So on September 9th we had completed our assignment and were ready to go.

In the photo above you can see our three story house.   We lived in the managers’ quarters on the left.   Our bedroom was in the balcony room in the upper left.   The guest side is on the right.
