Český Těšín, Czech Republic

We traveled from Frankfurt to Katowitz, Poland leaving at 10PM Easter Sunday night.  We were picked up and brought to Český Těšín, Czech Republic arriving at 2 AM, quite tired but excited about the new friends we were going to meet and the chance to learn about the national W Organization in the Czech Republic and their effort to recruit and send young Czechs to work in B translation.

Daniel and Suzan head the organization that, like it’s counterpart W Organizations in other countries, recruit, train and raise financial support for nationals to assist in translation world wide.  In about ten years of operation they have placed a number of Czechs in Africa and Asia.   Their home church is very supportive of the work and it is growing to the point where they need office help.

They took us to see a quaint village of Stramberk not far from their home.  We are in the town square in the photo above.  Below is a tower and a photos of the town and countryside.
